Easy-peasy Dosa – Simple, Easy and Healthy Breakfast

Children love foodstuffs that have special and funny names. Who else but the cunning mother takes time to name her healthy cooked food with lovely curious names…all for the sake of her children.

While making this Dosa, I thought I can give it a simple name, ‘Easy-peasy Dosa’.

A change from the regular stuff does make a difference to the taste.

All that this Easy-peasy Dosa needs:

Dosa batter: quantity as per the numbers to be made
Chopped Onion

Chopped Green chillies
Finely chopped Fresh coriander

Salt to taste and

Very little cooking oil for greasing the tawa.
Take the batter in a bowl. To this add all the above ingredients except the cooking oil. Mix well.

Keep the batter a little thicker than the one used for making regular dosas.

Place the tawa ( non-stick tawa preferable) on the burning stove and then pour a little oil on the hot tawa and let it spread all across.

Pour a large ladleful of this batter and gently try to spread it a little from the top without disturbing the bottom portion.

As the spread is thick, let it cook on low heat for some time and then increase the flame.

Flip it over and cook the other side till the colour changes.

Serve hot with any chutney that’s there at home.

Healthy breakfast to start the day with.
